Jackie's Individualism
Jackie Robinson is a fleeting image of individualism. He was the first African American to play in Major League Baseball. He got in by himself, with support from his family, friends, and some coaches, but his talent was the major factor which gained him entrance into the league. He alone determined his talent, which is why he is individualistic. His sheer determination changed the game, and in essence, the world. If he had not gotten into the MLB, I don’t know if this country would be as racially tolerable as it is today. We can thank him for this gracious deed, that no one had any idea would change the United States forever.

Here, Jackie is holding a plaque while getting his picture taken. His other teammates don't seam to enthusiastic about him getting the award. None of them give him congratulations, or even seem too happy for him.
